Why Olympia Media Group

We built Olympia Media Group on one belief: premium publishers deserve premium representation.

After more than twenty years each on the publisher side — at The New York Times, Insider, The Washington Post, Le Monde, Axel Springer’s Media Impact, Asahi Shimbun, Scientific American, Cathay Pacific Inflight Media and The Straits Times — we kept seeing the same problem in Switzerland and DACH: the world’s most influential titles were under-represented in exactly the markets where the audiences for them are richest.

We started Olympia Media Group in late 2020 to fix that.

Today we hold territorial mandates for some of the most respected names in journalism — DER SPIEGEL, Handelsblatt, DIE ZEIT, WirtschaftsWoche, Il Sole 24 Ore and Seazen — and a global mandate for I by IMD. We represent them the way we wanted publishers to be represented when we sat on the other side of the desk: with deep market knowledge, premium relationships, and a level of responsiveness that is hard to find in this industry.

Switzerland is a small market. The people who matter — agencies, brands, decision-makers — know each other. We have spent our careers building those relationships, and we use them to connect our publishers to the audiences and the budgets where they belong.

That is what we do. That is why we are here.
